For the price and service, this was absolutely worth booking, especially with Disney so close. The hotel was extremely clean, breakfast was great and the staff were friendly. There’s no reason it shouldn’t have five stars. We did have to make the top bunk ourselves, but it wasn’t a big hassle. Breakfast is traditional European style, and they also have a whole egg cooking station, which was really nice.

For a budget hotel, it was actually very nice, with fresh, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Disneyland was barely ten minutes away. There’s plenty of parking outside, free at certain times, or you can use the hotel garage for €7 a day, which is reasonable. The station is only 5 meters from the entrance, handy if you don’t have a car. The sink is oddly placed outside the bathroom or toilet, away from the shower. The toilet and shower spaces are a bit plain, but fine. We booked for three, yet only two beds were made. The bunk was left unmade, with the bedding in a bag, so we had to set it up ourselves in the middle of the night when we arrived. Breakfast was okay but basic: butter, cheese, three kinds of bread and some fruit. The fruit ran out quickly and wasn’t replenished.

The secure parking garage beneath the hotel is useful if you need somewhere for your car. Our room for three served us well and was clean and tidy, though a little tight for space. Service could have been better, but I’m not sure if that was because we arrived just before midnight or because of the language barrier. The location is ideal for Disneyland Paris, with the train station literally 30 seconds from the hotel entrance.

My husband and I are now suffering from a lot of bed bug bites, and they keep getting worse. We stayed in room 212 at Val d'europe ibis budget from 16-18 January. At first we were satisfied, but after the scratching started on Monday, we became extremely dissatisfied.
