Maison Amalka

We spent 10 days at Maison Amalka in summer and had a great time. The cosy, comfortable house made a lovely base for exploring the beautiful surroundings and catching up with family and friends. Marketa and Florian were welcoming and friendly, made us feel at home, and shared useful ideas for nearby hiking and biking trails. We look forward to coming back.

We had a brilliant week at Maison Amalka, with a family group of adults and 5 Children. Marketa & Florian were wonderful hosts, always replying to my many questions and helping whenever we needed them. The quiet village sits in an amazing valley, with a handy bus at the bottom of the road to Montgenevre or Briancon. After skiing, the easy-to-use sauna and Hot tub were a godsend, and the kitchen had plenty of utensils for cooking for our group. The beautiful house was a lovely place to stay, and the week ended with my engagement to my amazing wife to be. Thank you soooooo much! We'll be back!

Les Alberts is a beautiful, quiet and authentic village, and its people were as welcoming as our host. Maison Amalka suited our different plans: we skied in Montgenèvre, hiked down the valley, and could nordic ski practically right in front. The house is warm and cosy, with room for both small and large groups. It welcomes pets and includes two parking spots, which was superb. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

We packed our August holiday with hiking, mountain and E-biking, swimming, golf, walking up in the trees and a daily whizz down the Luge! We bought Montgenevre passes for the week and found them well worth the money. There are so many great family memories from the trip, and we hope to return soon. A huge thank you to Florian and Marketa for their kindness, help and hospitality. Maison Amalka is a beautiful, unique house and was more than perfect for us. We had everything we needed.
