For skiing, the location is handy: you can step straight onto the slopes. The spa is nice, though as a northerner I'd have liked the sauna to reach 90C. The receptionists and barmen were friendly and answered our questions, and although we got only 3 cards for 7 people, there's a phone app for unlocking doors. This isn't a traditional hotel, so I was fine with no daily cleaning. Still, having to buy hand soap and TOILET PAPER yourself is bizarre. The reception didn't sell slippers either. Guests must clean the kitchen, but all we had was a basic cloth and dish sponge. The radiators work in mysterious ways, and I couldn't get the TV working because the remote had no batteries, so those might need buying too. For a ski stay it's okay, but the soap and toilet paper situation was strange.

If zero stars were an option, I'd give that. India is probably better. We had to sleep at 15°C because they were so cheap they wouldn't let us turn on the radiators. We received 3 cards for 8 people, then had to pay 10€ for an extra room key. It's a 4 stars hotel, yet guests have to clean the room themselves or face a 400€ fine. During a whole week, there wasn't even a service to change the towels.

The apartments are clean and have everything you need, and the pool is great. The spa area could use supervision, though, since lots of under-18s were using it. For a ski-in, ski-out holiday, the location works really well.

The place is moldy, with drawer doors that creak constantly, and both the pool and sauna were too cold to use. They even charge extra for the room keys, on top of what you pay for the apartment. The employees came across like tricksters, as if they'd charge you for the air you breathe.

The rooms are smaller than the ones in Tignes, and I wish the pool were bigger too, like the one there. Compared with other MMV locations, the standards feel lower. It doesn't really feel like a four-star hotel, though it's good to see management trying to improve things.
