The ski locker has good equipment, and the residence sits right in the village, with the entrance 60 meters from the slopes. In apartment #12, the bedding wasn't the most comfortable, though it was still pleasant enough.

The apartment itself is nice and in a good location, but our experience with the owner was frustrating. The supplied utensils were already worn and low quality. After we left, he complained to us on Airbnb and made us buy two replacement utensils. He hadn't come to inspect the property on checkout day, then showed up around five days later. I don't know whether that's allowed. It felt like a way to keep getting new utensils at guests' expense. Be careful.

There are some real comforts here for a ski trip: the apartments are well equipped, seem new and looked after, and you can reach the slopes directly or take the free shuttle around the resort. There's a good supermarket and several restaurants close by too. In our four-person apartment, the living room and bathroom were a decent size, but the double bedroom was tiny. Heating was a problem, since the living room stayed cold with just one small, badly placed radiator that kept switching itself off. We were on the ground floor, and without curtains or blinds on the windows, we had to keep them closed for privacy. If you're sensitive to light, you'll wake early. Garbage trucks made an awful racket at the nearby collection point, sometimes in the middle of the night. Snowplows were also extremely noisy whenever they came out, day or night depending on snowfall. Wi-Fi was advertised, but only some apartments actually had routers and access.

A small, clean and quiet apartment right in town, opposite the ski lifts. There’s heated ski storage in the lobby. There’s no parking, and finding a spot in Montgenèvre can be difficult. They issue fines very quickly.
