Pascal & Nicole know the local area well and gave us useful advice. The welcome was warm, the place was clean and peaceful, and breakfast was generous with homemade food. It's an independent establishment in a handy spot on the edge of the Chablis wine region. We came back for a second stay in May and hope to return again soon.

The breakfasts were generous, well prepared, and a real bonus, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. My wife, daughter, and I were especially happy with our stay at Val du Chapelain. Giovanna welcomed us with a lovely smile, and everything felt just right. Great value for money. We'll definitely come back. Many thanks!

The owners were attentive and quick to respond, and the welcome was genuinely warm. For my first time staying in a guesthouse, it was a success. The house is well cared for, and the spotless rooms have all the comforts you could want. It's right by the road but surprisingly quiet. There's secure parking and a lovely pool, especially welcome in hot weather. Breakfast was excellent.

My aunt and I stopped for just one night, but what a lovely house. The setting is magnificent, the owners are incredibly kind, and we got such a warm welcome. The bedding was very high quality, and breakfast was fit for a king. A huge thank you!

We had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful house, set in a lovely rural spot between Auxerre and Chablis. The owner was friendly and available, and breakfast was very good. It was served in a room with a fireplace overlooking the garden. We'd be happy to return!
