The garden was so peaceful, and being able to keep our snacks in the fridge and freezer was handy. We stayed here at the start of our driving holiday, a lovely way to begin. The owner was incredibly welcoming and even recommended a fabulous place to eat, then booked it for us. Inside, the guest house was bright, clean, and set up with everything we needed. Our family room was spacious, with a large bathroom. Breakfast was superb, with all the continental choices you could want and some local produce. Definitely worth the drive beyond Troyes for the quiet.

Dinner could be served early to suit our small children, thanks to a kind and flexible hostess. The food was very nice and made mostly with organic ingredients, and breakfast was entirely homemade. We stopped here midway through our journey, in a very small, quiet village. There’s parking on the property behind a closed gate, and our room and bathroom were very clean and well equipped.

Mdm. Poli gave us a warm, helpful welcome, and breakfast the next morning was excellent, with organic apple juice and homemade conserves. We only stayed one night, 29 April 2018, while travelling to or from the south, but wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms were beautiful, and we’d be glad to return next time we travel. Just make sure the SATNAV is set correctly, as there’s another Clos Poli about 5 km farther away. John & Julie Sutton
