Camping Mon Repos

The pitches are really roomy, and the pool’s cold river water was especially nice during the heatwave. With mountains all around and plenty of mountain activities nearby, it’s a lovely spot. The people running the campsite were friendly, helpful, and very involved.

We had a rooftop tent and found the pitches spacious, with a free fridge everyone could use to keep food cool. The sanitary facilities were spotless, and there was bread in the morning. The little café and reception felt authentic. It’s right in nature, and we visited the small village Montmaur and climbed the Montagne de Céüse. The owners were friendly and personal, and the relaxed atmosphere made the stay. The price was so good we were surprised by how much value we got. Great hospitality from the start, and I’d definitely return and recommend this campsite.

We spent a wonderful week here and will definitely come back. The big pitches sit among nature, the facilities are clean, and the croissants in the morning were good. Audrey and friends make for a lovely atmosphere, and the price is good too. If you get the chance, go. Merci beaucoup!

There’s a small, cute café/bar for an evening drink or morning coffee, and the welcome from the staff was lovely and friendly. The grounds are spacious and relaxed. Toilets and showers have been renovated and are kept spotless. Everything was exceptionally clean and tidy. A great cheap and cheerful option if you’re in the area, I’d recommend it.
