Nuit D'un Jour

The rooms were lovely, the beds very comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic. We stopped at 'een nacht voor een dag' for one night on our way from Corsica back to the Netherlands. We got there around 8:00 PM, and the kids had a refreshing swim before dinner. Then we shared a glass of wine with the owners, who gave us such a warm welcome. It was also affordable, which matters to us Dutch people. A carefree overnight stay near Lyon, highly recommended!

The room and shared spaces were clean and comfortable, and the bed was good too. Deborah was so thoughtful, helping with the pizza and making sure I had a special gluten-free breakfast prepared. Such a warm, family-style welcome. I highly recommend it.

We had a nice meal in the nearby village by the water, and the pool was lovely. It was wonderfully quiet at night. I find the price acceptable for a family, though I think there are cheaper places if you don't have a folding trailer or a regular trailer. This spot worked ideally for us since we could drive onto the grounds with our folding trailer.

The breakfast was perfect, and the welcome was friendly in the end, even though they weren't very flexible on the phone. The photos make the place look very good, but our rooms felt more like converted garages. For that standard of accommodation, it was far too expensive.
