The three rooms were lovely, with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings that gave us some much-needed calm. We couldn't try the restaurant, but the chef kindly made us a quiche to take away, and it was gorgeous. We were there in very difficult circumstances after a friend had lost her home in the fires. The manager and every staff member treated us with real kindness and understanding. Their care went well beyond what we expected and helped us feel safe at a deeply unsettling time.

The setting and countryside views are beautiful, and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The chef and sommelier are both masters of their craft, with food at Michelin level. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and when we checked, the markup on our wine bottle was exactly 2 euros. Highly recommended.

My son loved the mint sorbet with berry pastry, two big thumbs up from him. I started with an excellent cold melon soup, then had the cod and souffle, which were both excellent too.

Definitely worth the detour. The food is creatively presented and reasonably priced, and somehow this restaurant manages to surprise us every time.

The rooms are cosy, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. The staff are lovely, and the chef is clearly experienced while still trying new things and experimenting with his food.
