Bikube Coliving Hôtel - Montpellier Centre Gare St Roch

The garage was good and reasonably priced, and our room was clean and nice. The service was great, too. The location worked really well for us, close to the tram 3 station. As someone with celiac disease, I had to bring my own bread for breakfast, but there was plenty of yoghurt, bacon, eggs, ham, and cheese. I can strongly recommend it, though the bed felt a bit hard to me.

A bottle of water in the fridge would be a nice touch. They also say there’s an electric charger, but it’s just a plug rated at 2.2 kWh. After 12 hours overnight, it had charged 25 kWh, so a normal car wouldn’t be fully charged for continuing a trip. Breakfast would be better for a four-star hotel with fried eggs. Still, everything else was perfect.

The location was handy, just a 5-7 minute walk from Saint-Roch train station. My room felt new, with a sink, mini-fridge, microwave, and stovetop. The bed was very firm but comfortable for me. Dish soap and a sponge would be useful additions. The restaurant is pricey, though the food and portions were good, and I especially liked the hummus appetizer. Late checkout is free until 12h, then 15€/hour if there’s availability. François, Bilal, and Victoria were amazing, responsive, and very helpful. There was a problem with my room when I arrived, but they moved me straight away without any hassle. On my last day, staff woke me to check a possible issue with the electrical outlets. It was brief, but a little jarring. The hot water also had a problem that day, which I think affected the neighborhood and was outside the hotel’s control. The staff were very apologetic. The shower floor is extremely slippery. I had a great stay at Bikube Montpellier and would happily book there again if I returned to Montpellier.

The room was small but thoughtfully laid out, with everything we needed, including bedside chargers on both sides, a little table, and a kitchen. When we first arrived, the building made me think of student accommodation, but we were pleasantly surprised. My husband and I stayed one night during a euro trip. There’s a gym and a laundry room, which I really like having while travelling, though the laundry is paid for through an app. Breakfast was €14 pp and did the job. The coffee from the barista machine was very nice, and the vending-style machine was good too. There’s a lovely outdoor terrace. It’s not far from the station, but there are closer places if you’re hauling luggage.
