The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the gym, though small, had a good range of weights and cardio gear for keeping up a workout while traveling. We had a great two-night stay, with spacious rooms and really comfortable beds. It’s close to public transport and just a short distance from the old city. Would gladly stay again.

As a longtime Marriott Gold Member, I was looking forward to the Courtyard by Marriott Montpellier. The stay ended up being one of my most disappointing customer service experiences at a Marriott. I asked for an extra blanket and was told, “We don’t have any.” It’s unacceptable for a hotel at this level, especially under the Marriott name, to have no blanket available for a guest. I’ve trusted Marriott for dependable service and hospitality, so this was a real letdown. I hope management takes the feedback seriously and improves how guests are treated.

The location is good, right beside the mairie and some shops, and the customer service was good too. Rooms are a decent size, with a view either over greenery in the park or into the courtyard. Secure parking is available on site for 16 euros a day. The pool closes during autumn and winter.

I was here on a three-month business trip and got lucky enough to celebrate Bastille Day from my balcony. The hotel is nice, and breakfast was good. Most rooms were fine, though the contracted cleaners were inconsistent. The restaurant wasn’t anything special, but there are plenty of great places to eat nearby. The front desk wasn’t very helpful, and I still haven’t received my loyalty points.

Pauline made check-in simple and was lovely to deal with, very accommodating too. Other staff helped us figure out how to reach the historic center and what to see. The hotel is two floors, with limited views, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. The tram is easy to access right next to the hotel. It’s about 15 minutes from the historic center. Please like and follow.
