The hotel manager and receptionist were rude and unprofessional. There were tiger mosquitoes in the room and probably bedbugs. The next day I had big, red, itchy and painful marks in several places, and a doctor confirmed I was reacting to tiger mosquito bites. The manager and night receptionist’s responses and attitudes were shocking, they acted like thugs. booking.com ignored the written insult the manager sent me, so this will be resolved the old fashioned way, by dealing with thugs.

It’s a budget place with small, basic but clean rooms, and the tram nearby makes it easy to get around Montpellier. Breakfast came half an hour late, and nobody apologized. The staff even seemed annoyed that they’d been woken up to serve guests who had already waited that long. A real lack of attention to detail.

After a truck accident on the A9, I spent the night in my car and still couldn’t cancel my reservation. I gave them all the evidence I had, but they wouldn’t listen. Appalling. These people only care about themselves and shouldn’t be hoteliers. Unless they’ve learned some manners since then, I strongly advise against staying here.
