I spent 10 days at Ibis Budget prés d'arènes Montpellier in February and really appreciated the hotel and its staff. The breakfast room team were especially friendly, helpful, and always correct. It was a lovely way to start the day. Reception staff, thanks as well for your service. I’ve always had good experiences at the Ibis and Ibis Budget prés d'arènes Montpellier.

The reception had a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were helpful. The tram makes getting into town convenient. The beach was quite a trek, but we made the trip for two days. Recommend.

10/10
Christine at reception was lovely when we arrived. The room was fairly clean and comfortable for what we paid, though the corridor smelled unpleasant. Parking felt safe, even though I think the exit is completely open. There’s also a bike cage, which is handy if you’re travelling with a full car.

4/10
A convenient stop on a drive through France, close to the highway, with nice facilities, some indoor sports equipment, and a great parking lot with secured access. The reason for my two stars is the cleanliness. I saw several bugs all over my bed when I was going to sleep and killed them. I thought that had taken care of it, but two days later I found bites in several places on my body.

Good rooms for the price, and a nearby tram stop gets you to the city centre quickly while your car stays secure. The parking is enclosed, well lit, and monitored, with enclosed spaces for bikes and mopeds too. A good place to stop on the way.
