Marc made the stay feel special, and we can't thank him enough. He was welcoming and attentive while still giving us space, and his breakfasts were amazing: homemade granola and yogurt, fresh fruit, croissants and pastries, eggs, and a sweet treat each day. The Residence is beautifully decorated, with spacious, comfortable bedrooms and spotless bathrooms. We loved the garden and large pool, and the views of the nearby church and countryside are stunning. We'd happily return and highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Montreal.

The pool and terrace were private and beautifully landscaped, with a lovely southwest-facing view and the Pyrenees in the distance. We enjoyed every moment of our week at La Residence de Gerard in September 2021. Our room was beautifully appointed, and every detail, from the front door to the terrace edge, felt carefully chosen and well done. Marc served delicious breakfasts graciously each morning and asked about our plans, offering advice. He also has a terrific list of nearby lunch and dinner restaurants. We'd planned to visit in summer 2020 but couldn't travel because of Covid. Marc kept in touch throughout the year, and the wait was worth it.

Marc's breakfasts, served on a lovely patio, are superb. We've been to Europe, especially France, many times, and his home is as good as it gets. Take advantage of his restaurant recommendations. You can't go wrong.
