The cheese fondue was the real deal, and absolutely delicious. Such lovely French hospitality. We loved it.

We had cocktails on the terrace with beautiful views, and the atmosphere was great. The staff were friendly, and the food was high quality. I’d recommend the light, fresh fish with its tasty sauce, and the homemade desserts were delicious too. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant, 10/10.

Montriond is close to Morzine, with a free shuttle, and it’s a lovely 2 km walk during the day along the river on the coast path. We loved our two night stay in the auberge and would come back. The room was clean, with amazing mountain views, a fridge, and very comfortable beds. There’s also a modern shared kitchen and dining area open all day. The only drawback was that our shower had no holder, so we had to hold it by hand. For the price, cleanliness, views, and comfort, it was perfect.

The bar and service were great. I stopped by at 13.20 for lunch, but the kitchen was closed. They said lunch guests need to arrive by 13 and book.
