The rooms may look small in the photos, but for two people they’re more than enough, and they’re tastefully decorated. Chalet Beatrice is a beautiful, warm house, spotlessly clean and comfortable enough to feel like home. Lindsay, the owner, was a wonderful host. She made an excellent breakfast and took care of our transfers to the ski lifts. It’s easily one of the best chalets in the area, and we’ll be back soon.

We’d just finished the Etape cycling event in Morzine and arrived tired and ready for something to eat and drink. Lindsay had more than enough of both waiting for us, perhaps a little too much to drink! A few of our group enjoyed the hot tub, and breakfast the next morning was just right. She was an outstanding host during our few nights at the chalet. If we’re back in the area in summer or winter, I’d happily stay here again.

The chalet is magnificent, with lovely mountain views, very good quality bedding, and a hostess who made us feel welcome. We did wish there had been room in our bedroom for a suitcase. Breakfast was disappointing too, both in quality and in the number of items offered. A shame.
