Chalet Le Rouge Morzine - By EMERALD

There’s plenty of off-road parking, which was a real bonus. The apartment is beautifully finished inside and out, and it’s only a short walk over the bridge into central Morzine. Such a great place. Highly recommend it.

The chalet is close to Avoriaz ski resort, and it was a wonderful place for a week with my whole family. The mountain view, sauna and jacuzzi were incredible, and having an en-suite bathroom in every room was so convenient. Emerald Stay had thought through all the little details to make our stay as good as possible. This was our fourth winter holiday with them, and we wouldn’t choose another company. Thank you, Emerald Stay. We’ll be back next year!

We loved how spacious and welcoming it felt, and the place was cosy, spotless and modern, with lovely decor and attention to detail. The staff were quick and attentive whenever we had a question. They even brought fresh towels unexpectedly and cleaned midway through our stay, which was exceptional. We didn’t want to leave and will be back.

The walk back from the nearest supermarket is uphill, and it’s about ten minutes away on foot. If you’re planning to cook a lot and don’t have a car, that could be a problem, so we’d strongly recommend renting one. Otherwise, the chalet’s shared space worked just right for us, with a roomy living area, big dining table and a large kitchen that was impressively well equipped. The host was friendly and easy to reach, answered all our questions, and treated us kindly and fairly. The chalet was a bit smaller than it looked in the pictures. Upstairs, the three bedrooms are close together, so there isn’t much privacy on that floor.
