Chalet Riviere

We loved having a quiet side road for the location, with easy access to the slopes and a short walk to the lake when we fancied a change. Our room was stunning, and the hot tub was a lovely way to unwind after skiing. The chalets are great, the hosts are too, and the food was excellent. AliKats seems to have thought of everything to make the stay run smoothly. This was our second visit, and it won’t be our last.

The food was a highlight again, and the chalet team did everything they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable. This was our first time staying in Riviere, and the chalet was even nicer than the photos, with a lovely balance of comfort and luxury. We’ve booked with AliKats several times now because we keep coming back for the service, accommodation, and food. I’m sure we’ll return.

Our first family ski holiday was so easy thanks to the hosts, who were fantastic with our two children, aged 4 and 2. Chalet Rivière is modern and very comfortable, and the food and service were excellent. Its position between the Prodains and Ardent bubble lifts made it easy to explore the ski area. We’d definitely come back.

Rich and Nick were friendly and helpful throughout, and we were well looked after. We loved the master suite, though it may be hard to top on a future trip. The chalet is beautiful and peaceful, with a short minibus ride to Ardent lift, our favourite way up to the slopes. Meals were delicious and generous, from breakfast and afternoon tea to canapés and three-course dinners. The paired wines were a lovely touch and all excellent, as was the unlimited house red. It was our first stay with Alikats, after eight visits to Montriond, and we’ll be back.
