Aparthotel Adagio Paris Montrouge

The area worked well for us: it wasn’t right by central Paris, there was a large grocery store and a gas station on the same street, and a halal boulangerie with delicious desserts nearby. Parking was available for a fee, too. The stay was okay overall, but I don’t consider this a four-star hotel. There was no daily room service, which I’ve never encountered at the many hotels I’ve stayed in. We also had other problems, big and small. At one point, two men came into our room while the three of us hijabi women were still inside. The following day, our keycards somehow stopped opening the door.

The breakfast could use a few more choices for the price, since the selection felt limited. Aside from that, I had a really nice stay at Aparthotel Adagio Paris Montrouge. My room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything went smoothly, and I enjoyed being there. I’d choose the hotel again on my next trip to Paris.

The location is the main thing going for this hotel. It’s near a metro station, so getting around Paris is easy, and there are plenty of restaurants close by. The rooms need work. There weren’t basic things like garbage pails, which is a real problem over several days. Several doors open into each other in a way that could be dangerous, and the toilets weren’t great. Service could be much better, too. They wouldn’t provide extra towels or bedding, and when I asked, they acted like I was being unreasonable. One towel for an adult over four days isn’t reasonable. Even coffee pods and phone calls cost extra.

The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with lots of places to eat close by. Getting around was easy by metro, bus, or cab. I stayed four nights, and check-in went smoothly. The receptionists were helpful, and the room, kitchen, and washrooms were clean. The air conditioning was just right, and hot and cold water were available around the clock. A good choice for this price range.
