The rooms were clean, and the spa room was excellent. Breakfast was good too. There wasn't any Wi-Fi in the rooms, and the service could be up and down.

We ended up relying on Google Translate to communicate. The owners and most of the waitresses seemed to speak only Danish, which was frustrating in the middle of a French resort. This hadn't been mentioned before we booked. If you don't speak Danish or English, I'd avoid staying here.

The breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the spa and jacuzzi were really good. Last-minute prices weren't bad either. But the place is run by Danes and nearly all the guests are Danish, and the owner doesn't speak French, so you need to manage in English. There's no private parking. Our room windows didn't seal properly, and a draft blew over us while we slept. Also, reception needs a code to get in, but you don't have one when you first arrive, so you can end up locked out.
