Sky La Rosière

We had a fantastic week and are planning to come back. The accommodation was spacious and amazing, in a perfect location. The facilities were brilliant, though I wish the pool and hot tubs had been warmer.

We stayed in apartment 101 with four children and six adults. The apartment was big enough for all of us, with comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. We loved the pool, sauna and hamam, and the bakery on site. The balcony had a lovely view and afternoon sun. The location made everything easy: the slopes, ski school and supermarket were all close by, never more than a five-minute walk. The ski room was great too, and we could ski straight home. The hotel also offers a big discount if you hire skis through one of the local companies. A few things were missing: there was no hand soap in the bathrooms and no tea towels. Sound travelled within the apartment, though we didn’t hear noise from other apartments. The children were disappointed that they couldn’t use the jacuzzi and hot tub, especially when the bubbles weren’t on.

Sky Residence is superbly placed for both the slopes and the town, with great sunrise and sunset views. The complex feels high end and well thought out, from the apartments to the building and its amenities, including a bar, restaurant, boot room and bakery on site. The staff were friendly throughout our stay.

There was loads of space in our apartment, a large kitchen and a huge balcony with great views. It had everything we needed, including a huge TV and really good WiFi, which the kids especially appreciated. You can ski right from the doorstep. These are the best apartments I’ve ever stayed in.
