We had a tuna steak with beurre blanc, sweet potato purée, and tender baby vegetables, properly cooked rather than left al dente. It was memorable. The Cointreau soufflé/mousse with apricot jelly was excellent too. The small menu changes daily, which helps keep the ingredients fresh, and the dining room is lovely with attentive service. They even let us take home the bottle we hadn't finished (👮♂️🎫), a welcome gesture that's still relatively uncommon. A starter, main course, and dessert for €25 is very reasonable.

The setting is pleasant and the food is good. The menu is short, which gives the impression they're working with fresh, seasonal ingredients. 😊 The children's menu was the letdown. It's a shame to bring kids to a restaurant and have them eat frozen fries when the rest of the menu is at a higher standard. 😓

We ate in the garden overlooking the Sarthe River. The meal was delicious and the service quick. The terrace has limited seating, so it's a good idea to book ahead.
