We had the set menu, and were delighted to find monkfish as the main course's star ingredient since it's our favorite. We dined here during a short road trip in the area in early May, and it may have been the best dinner we've ever had. The setting was wonderful, the weather amazing, and both the service and value were really good for the level of cuisine and ingredients. We'll remember this trip!

The Jardins de la Matz hosts' table was a wonderful discovery. Everything on the menu was delicious, and we liked the idea of using vegetables from the garden and sourcing the other products locally. We recommend it.

The dinner restaurant is a standout, set in an outbuilding beside the main house and serving a fixed menu. The meal was superb, with plenty of beer, wine, and soft drink options. You can call to reserve dinner even if you aren't staying there. The updated B&B is in a historic farmhouse near Dinan, among about a dozen houses and agricultural crops, so it's quiet and restful. A wonderful place, highly recommended.

I only came for dinner, not an overnight stay. The food was exquisite and really well priced, in beautiful surroundings. Try to get a seat outside if you can.
