Delightful Villa at Moriani-plage With Garden

The grounds and the pool both looked neglected. A large piece of concrete was missing from the pool, there was green algae on it, and the waterline had scum or limescale marks. For what we paid, it was poor value, and we won't come back. At first the house seemed quite nice, but looking more closely at our three-bedroom villa, number 2, there were problems everywhere. The barbecue was dirty, its grill rusty and unusable, and the coffee maker was dirty inside and out and needed descaling. The kettle wasn't much better. The oven seemed to have been replaced, but it stuck out at least 2 cm because it didn't fit its gap. The bathroom tile grout had gaps, the silicone around the sink was dirty and broken in places, and the built-in sink plug didn't work. Our bedroom had cracked paint that was flaking. The wardrobe was just a low-end shelf-like unit with a hanging rail. The separate toilet was being used for a broom and ironing board, and its tile grout was cracked too. The mattress felt like a concrete bench. The house is only 20 years old and has clearly had very little upkeep. It's also up for sale at 310000 euros. When we spoke to management, they said we should have brought the items to reception and they would have replaced them. But checking the houses before guests arrive and replacing dirty or broken things is their job, not ours.
