Christian kindly drove us from Morillon to Morzine for a very reasonable amount, which gave us more time on the slopes on our last day. We split the week between 3.5 days in Morillon and 3 days in Morzine, and I really enjoyed the Grand Massif area. The room was clean, comfortable, nicely presented, and had a good bathroom and shower. My hosts, Christian and Patricia, were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and I enjoyed chatting with them. Dinner on our first night was delicious. I also enjoyed the Gewurtztraminer wine and Bandol rose. Breakfast was great too, with nice bread, cold meats, homemade jams, and usually a sweet treat like apple and cinnamon crepes, plus OJ, apple Juice, tea and coffee. After a day hiking or skiing, relaxing in the jacuzzi was pure bliss. We also slept very comfortably, with remarkably soft sheets and covers. Christian and Patricia were charming, attentive hosts, generous with advice about exploring the region, and conversation with them was a pleasure. The meals were divine, generous, and delicious every evening. We felt at home straight away during our wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast. We had to leave because we couldn't sleep there. The sheets were filthy and in an unacceptable state, and the whole place was dirty. There was a nauseating smell as soon as we arrived at Chalet Esprit in Morillon. We were extremely disappointed, a very regrettable experience.

The breakfasts were fantastic, with local products and little extra treats, and we got great advice about excursions. Pets were no problem at all, which suited us because we love them too. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, and the room, bathroom, and bedding were spotless. The place has a rustic yet modern feel, with everything you need right there. A wonderful family stay. The location worked perfectly for getting to the village of Les Gets to meet our family. It was a smarbox stay. We were welcomed very warmly and stayed with the host, their family, and their animals. We love animals, so that was no problem for us at all, quite the opposite. Give Choupette a pet from us 😉. Breakfast was help yourself, with both sweet and savoury options.
