Couple Getaway With Mountain View

The apartment was basic but mostly fine, and the sofa bed wasn’t much of a sofa, though it made a good bed. The accommodation was very nice overall, handy for the bus to the slopes, and the pool was a bonus. I’d definitely recommend it for a quick ski break.

There are lockers for skis and boots, and the place is well located for nearby ski areas. The rooms feel small for the number of people they’re meant to hold, with little space for bags or clothes. We also had to make the beds when we arrived, strip them at checkout, and take out the rubbish. The pool looked bigger in the booking photos, and the water wasn’t very warm.

The apartment price, plus extra charges for towels and bed linen, doesn’t feel fair. It also seems unreasonable to be asked to make the beds before leaving and take out the rubbish. The pool water isn’t warm, and access hours are ridiculous: it closes at 6:45 pm, when most guests are still on the slopes until 6, then doesn’t open again until 10 am, when guests are leaving. Reception also isn’t open late in the evening.

There’s a set time window for check-in, so you have to arrive then. We also had trouble with hot water at busy times. For stays of seven days or more, guests are expected to clean everything before leaving, while shorter stays only require cleaning the kitchen. That rule is ridiculous. The accommodation is decent for self-catering and the prices are low, though it’s a bit outdated.
