Brit Hotel Montargis

We found it easily, and there was plenty of parking, especially at the back. The staff were welcoming and spoke excellent English. The hotel has a fun classic auto-route museum feel to it. We stopped here while travelling from Magny-Cours to Calais. It’s a handy little place just south of Montargis on the N7. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with a kettle, tea, and a really good shower with strong pressure. Breakfast had lots to choose from, including fresh pastries, bacon, and eggs. There’s also a new Italian restaurant about 2km north, opened in the past few weeks, and an automatic Total fuel station 2km south.

That fresh cheese was perfect at breakfast, and the bed was comfy for a good night's sleep 💚

The owner’s love of vintage cars gives this place its character. It used to be a garage, and the lobby has beautiful classics kept in pristine condition, along with retro garage props around the hotel. The rooms are modest, but clean, and the manager was super friendly. A great stay at a highway hotel, where so many places look alike.

Easy to find, comfortable, and accessible around the clock. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and speak both English and French. Breakfast was nice and fresh.
