We were cycling across Europe and stopped here for a bit of luxury. The spa was impressive, and both breakfast and dinner were very, very good. The staff were kind and professional throughout, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Some of the best hospitality we've had.

At €285 a night for a standard room, this felt outrageous. I think it’s more like a €100-per-night place. The room looked nothing like a boutique or modern space to me, more 1990s Ibis Budget, with worn decor, old carpets, and a cramped open-plan bathroom awkwardly placed in the hallway. The main building also didn't match the sleek modern photos. It felt dark and dated, and badly in need of renovation. I can't speak to the more expensive room types, but based on my stay I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere. It has all the signs of a tourist trap. I can only suspect that fake positive reviews are being used to bury genuine 1- and 2-star feedback. Filter by rating and see for yourself.

Looking out through the huge window in the nature room made it feel like we were in another world. The room was truly beautiful, and the hotel has a wonderful spa with saunas and a pool. The restaurant served extraordinary food and, in my opinion, deserves a star. A great hotel with a magnificent restaurant. The one letdown was the gym. It was small, and the air conditioner wasn't working when I visited.

We felt misled and extremely disappointed. If we'd known what the Standard Room was really like, we wouldn't have agreed to stay, even for free. The photos online are heavily edited and don't show the actual room or the building it's in, as far as we could find. Our Standard Room felt like a basic Holiday Inn in the countryside. The shower was beside the bed, with no separate bathroom area, and the bed was small and too short to be comfortable, even for someone 175 cm tall. There was just a small sink, a wall-mounted hairdryer, and hard soap bars labeled as shampoo and conditioner. All that cost €285 per night, which felt outrageous for what was provided. We noticed the Standard Room isn't even listed on booking.com, and suspect that's intentional. When we raised our concerns, management said there were no upgrades available, even though upgraded rooms were listed online as available. That only made us more frustrated.
