What a gorgeous, splendid place! The lush green surroundings look out over the flowing river. Our host was superb, the bed was comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom and shower were glorious. We enjoyed every minute. Thank you! P & M of Kapunda, South Australia

We were really happy with our stay, and only wished we could have stayed a bit longer. The hosts, Anne and Cyril, were amazing. We arrived late, and Cyril asked if we wanted something to eat. He put together an amazing dinner for us with cheese, cold cuts, bread, pie, and vegetables.

Anne, Cyril, and their adorable children made this a holiday to remember. Their kindness was exceptional when my husband had to be hospitalised, and we wish them every success. They’ve certainly earned it. It felt like a little piece of heaven: peaceful water flowing over the weir, and beautiful gardens where you could relax and do absolutely nothing.

Right on the riverbank, surrounded by nature, with a beautiful room, this was one of the best places I’ve stayed. Every detail felt enchanting. The hosts welcomed us warmly and served a delicious breakfast. We’ll definitely be back.
