Chalet Alpaga One

The service from Alikats was fabulous, and the chalet had everything we wanted. It’s perfectly placed for the town centre, with amazing views of Piste A in Morzine. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend both the chalet and Alikats. We’ll be back.

We really enjoyed gathering around the huge dining table for meals, and there was plenty of communal space for our family group, including our three grown-up children and their partners. The chalet was peaceful and central, and we were glad we didn’t bring a car. Using public transport and the multipass worked well for us. After days out hiking, it was lovely to relax in the hot tub and take in the mountain views. The chalet was well equipped overall, and everyone appreciated having an en suite bathroom. As another reviewer mentioned, full showers in the family rooms would be a good idea.

We’ve had another summer week in Alpaga 2, our third in Morzine, and have already booked two weeks next year, with the adjoining Alpaga 1 as well. It’s bright and modern, with plenty of space for a large group. The chalet is clean and well equipped, and the Alikats team are lovely and quick to respond. It’s an easy walk over the suspension bridge into Morzine, while the living area and balconies have breathtaking mountain views. We can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you!

We made good use of the multi passes, which let us enjoy mountain walks without the uphill struggle, as well as free swimming and ice skating. The many free public buses meant we could leave the car at the chalet. There was room for our family of five, comfortable beds, lots of living space, and we especially used the upstairs snug. The chalet was well equipped, with space for bikes, boots, and outdoor clothes. We also enjoyed the balcony, BBQ, and sauna, and the valley views and walk into town over the bridge were lovely. Just a couple of small niggles: two en suites with baths didn’t have overhead showers, and the WiFi was slow at times.
