Chalet Harmonie

We were warmly welcomed at Chalet Melodie, which is right in the heart of Morzine. A fabulous birthday cake was waiting for me when I arrived, ready for celebrating my 60th with family. Highly recommended.

Beca looked after us so well and gave us excellent help planning our itinerary. We were lucky enough to get a bit of snow, so we went to Les Gets, took the cable car up, and built snow bunnies. The Alta Lumina experience was unforgettable too. Ice skating and swimming were within walking distance, and we found heaps to do with our 8-year-old in tow. She loved the chalet as well. We had a superb stay in this gorgeous chalet, which is incredibly convenient. We wondered whether October half term would be worth visiting, but the colours in Morzine at that time of year were gorgeous.

This was another lovely late summer visit to Morzine, and Chalet Melodie made an ideal base for our family. It’s spacious and central, with a lovely kitchen and lounge and dining areas, plus great views up towards Avoriaz that looked atmospheric. The chalet was spotlessly clean, as expected from AliKats, and once indoors it felt like a tranquil retreat. The cinema room, warm welcome, and comprehensive guest book all added to our stay. Beca from Alikats was very helpful and informative, and nothing felt like too much to ask. We felt the chalet offered excellent value for money and would love to return. Convenient, central, with good views and plenty of space. Would we recommend it? Yes, definitely. Five out of five.

The gondola and town were both an easy walk from Chalet Harmonie, with a big supermarket nearby too. Our family of seven spent Christmas week there and had a wonderful time. The chalet felt warm and welcoming, especially with the log burner, and there was plenty of space: a huge dining table that seats 12, a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The boot room had everything the skiers needed, including boot warmers. We couldn't find anything to fault.
