I’ve eaten here several times in both summer and winter and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the people and service are lovely. Good value too, and they make the best cocktails in Morzine.

I had a great stay, though a couple of things could be better. Since there’s no common area, you end up spending time in the room, where the bed is the only place to sit. Even a beanbag tucked in a corner would help. A shower curtain would also be useful, especially when you’re sharing with strangers, so the whole bathroom doesn’t get soaked. The website doesn’t mention that the hostel is above a nightclub, so bring earplugs if nighttime noise bothers you.

Once dinner was over, we sat on the terrace beside one of the Morzin streams and listened to the rushing water. It felt magical. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive without being over the top. We had a fantastic evening.
