Le Saint-Alban

We stayed at L’Hermine Blanche in April and loved the views of the mountains. It’s a charming little hotel with a lovely pool that’s half indoors and half outdoors, plus a sauna and garden. The setting is quiet but still within walking distance of central Morzine’s cafes and restaurants, and the free shuttle buses to the slopes. Everyone on staff was friendly, and the hearty, delicious food was just right before a day in the mountains.

There were 11 of us, and the staff looked after us so well. We had really good food and spent a lovely evening in the garden. The location was great for getting to all the activities in Morzine. Everyone was very friendly, even if I can’t remember all their names. We’d definitely come back.

Really good spa and food, and the whole staff had great vibes. Shane, the manager, and Emma on bar duty deserve a special mention. Would definitely recommend.

We’ve already started planning another visit to Alpine Elements Hermine Blanche. The place was such good value when you consider the transfers, meals, coffee, cakes, reasonably priced drinks, pool and sauna, and the location. It’s a quiet spot, yet a six-minute walk over the pedestrian bridge gets you into downtown Morzine for bars, shops, ski hire, and the cable car. There’s also a free bus stop right outside. The team made the holiday feel special. Their local advice on skiing, shopping, and eating was brilliant, and they were genuinely keen to help with bags, drinks, bookings, kit hire, or tips for skiing and snowboarding. Soirise met us at the airport and sorted the bookings and hire. Shane answered my snowboard kit questions and ran a fun quiz night. Ella helped us choose slopes, and Megan was great company over a beer. Alpine Elements’ five-star team kept everything easy. I barely had to think about anything beyond which meal, wine, or slopes to choose. The hotel has around 24 rooms, which along with the attentive staff gives it a special, personal feel. We were very comfortable. After skiing, the pool, hot tub, jacuzzi, and warm lounge with its fireplace and incredibly comfy sofas were welcome. Accidental sofa naps felt almost inevitable. The meals were all delicious and nicely presented, and each morning we chose from several tempting dinner options. We loved our cozy Alpine retreat and can’t wait to return. We might even come back for a summer adventure instead of waiting for ski season.
