Les Lans

We were a family group of eight staying in the first week of January. The hotel’s lovely bar has a log fire and plenty of games, and the free ski bus stops right outside. Rooms were spotless, dinner was excellent, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout. Aube, the manager, was incredibly helpful. After I was injured on the slopes, she even found me crutches and regular ice packs. First-class service. We’d absolutely recommend this small but lovely hotel.

The food was a highlight every evening. Each meal was unbelievably good, made with fresh seasonal local produce by the resident chef. It was genuinely at the level of a very good restaurant, not just good hotel food. Aube and her family have beautifully restored and cared for this traditional alpine chalet. Everything was spotless, cozy and comfortable. Our twin room had a spacious wardrobe, a very good shower and a balcony with stunning views of the Prodain slope. We’ve been to Avoriaz several times, but this was our first stay at Les Lans. It was the best week we’ve had in the Alps so far, and certainly won’t be our last visit. The spacious rooms had comfortable beds and balconies, and the cozy bar area, with lots of board games, really added to the family feel. The hotel is close to the Prodaine lift, has all the ski equipment amenities, and is well connected to Morzine centre by a free bus every ten minutes. The staff were friendly, helpful, polite and wonderful. You can feel the family-led character throughout. The dinners were exceptional, with every course carefully prepared and served, and extraordinary flavours. We loved everything and would definitely come back.

We spent Christmas 2025 here and had no complaints. The service was excellent, the food exceptional, and Aube was a brilliant host. We’d be very happy to return. Thanks for a brilliant holiday. Hotel Les Lans is a real gem, especially for early access to Avoriaz via the Prodains cable car. The hotel is in a perfect spot, with bus stops for Morzine and the Prodains cable car right outside.
