The staff were so friendly, spoke good English, and looked after us with good service and a sense of humor. The maitre was a lovely man. We enjoyed a great meal with lovely wine, and our dog was welcome too. We had a very pleasant stay and loved how spacious the room was.

The restaurant food was exceptionally good, and everything was very well priced. The rooms feel a little old-fashioned, but they’re spacious and clean, with a really comfortable bed. There’s beautiful woodland and an interesting goat, too. It’s a bit out of the way, but worth a visit. I’ll go again if I’m passing that way.

The grounds are lovely and green, with a river running through them, which made this feel like such a relaxing countryside escape. The rooms were wonderful, and both the food and service were great. An amazing oasis.

The food was great when we ate at the restaurant, but the staff weren’t very gracious or friendly, and they weren’t smiling. It didn’t feel like a warm welcome. I wish we’d had the full experience, with great food and welcoming staff who smiled, at least!

A lovely view and delicious food. The staff were really nice and helped us choose the perfect wine pairing. Definitely worth a stop.
