La Bastide de Mougins, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The recent renovation has left the hotel feeling warm and inviting, and there’s plenty of parking. We chose it because it’s outside town, where we could get away from the bustle of Cannes. The rooms are well appointed, and dinner was great, especially the beef. Service was outstanding. Everyone from reception to the bar and dinner team was friendly and went out of their way to make the stay memorable. Nicolas from the bar and dining team was especially enthusiastic and entertaining. His energy makes it clear he really loves his job. We’d recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the end of summer 2025 and enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay. The service was stellar, and there were fantastic food options. We loved our junior suite overlooking the courtyard. The view wasn’t amazing, exactly, but the ambiance still felt serene. The tennis court could use a remodel, but those are small details that didn’t affect our lovely time. Highly recommend, especially for the value. I could see this becoming an annual trip!

Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight, and the garden and pool were lovely, peaceful places to unwind. The staff were warm, attentive and welcoming. La Bastide Mougins has cozy, well-kept rooms and a calm atmosphere, with a rare mix of comfort and character. It’s a small, charming hotel close to Mougins village, good for a quiet and elegant stay. Just got back from a few days there and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended if you’re looking for that kind of stay in the South of France.
