Moulin De Mougins

The food was delicious, full of flavor, and came in generous portions. We left happy and full. The place has a cozy, elegant feel that suits any occasion, and the friendly, welcoming staff made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

The food was very good, with nice portions and professional presentation. The Sancerre was good too, but nowhere near worth €70. Service, though, was painfully slow. We waited 40 minutes for water and menus, even after asking a waiter, so we ordered drinks straight away to head off more delays. Another 30 minutes went by before I got up to ask for another bottle of water and to order food. The waiter took our orders shortly after. Drinks arrived 10 minutes later, then we waited another 30 minutes for the food. We came close to leaving after waiting 30 minutes, but decided to give the restaurant a chance. There were only two waiters working, and a live singer walking around the tables kept getting in their way at times. The volume was too loud as well. They gave us two coffees free to make up for the poor service. There was no soap in the bathrooms and no towels to dry our hands. I’m not coming back. Sorry.

The decor and atmosphere are so lovely, and the food never lets me down. I love this restaurant.

The portions were large and the food was delicious, but the service was unpleasant and inattentive. One entree came out wrong, and nobody checked on us, so we had to point it out to the servers. By then everyone else in our party had finished, so we didn’t reorder. We also had to pour our own wine through the meal. After dinner we walked around the rest of the property. A male employee was rude and confrontational with one of the women in our party when she needed to use the bathroom. It was an unpleasant experience, and so unnecessary. We definitely won’t be back.
