The restaurant was a real treat, and the setting was lovely. I had a wonderful night here, too: a warm welcome, a cozy room that could use a little updating, and excellent bedding. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area.

I only tried the restaurant. The service was average, and the menu felt quite expensive for the quality and portions. Nothing like ex marjolaine, and nowhere near gastro. More like a canteen or company restaurant 😞

The place itself is stunning, though it could be promoted much more. We had a good laugh during our girls' getaway, but we won't be back. We booked through Weekendesk expecting a sauna, steam room, and pool. None was available: the pool was out of order, and the other facilities had been closed for three years. On arrival, a young woman seemed bothered by us. She handed over the key and gave us a quick explanation of where the room was. It was very spacious but really outdated, with no welcome note or bottle of water for making tea. At dinner, the waitress sighed when I asked for bread that wasn't so toasted, and my dish was extremely salty. I won't even get into the atmosphere they created for us.
