Out in the countryside, the hotel consists of two buildings outside the village. The pool had no water in it, so I can’t comment on it. The room was large and looked nice at first, but the furniture clearly has seen better days. There’s a safe, though the code didn’t work and we had to use a key. The windows have no mosquito screens, so be ready to share the room with them. Breakfast felt heartless, and the coffee tasted horrible.

This is a family-run hotel, and it felt more like being a guest in the owners’ home than staying at a hotel. When we first came into the lobby, the owners seemed busy with their own things, while their grandchildren ran around screaming and playing as their parents watched proudly. The bathroom setup wasn’t good: a separate toilet and a small tub, but no shower. The location is poor too, and the pool looked as if they let the kids… you know. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The family atmosphere created by the owner is very friendly, and arriving here is a pleasure every time. The hotel has nice, very clean rooms with modern equipment. It’s a beautiful spot in the heart of Provence, peaceful and great for relaxing among the lovely midmountain scenery of Les Alpilles.

Hotel Terriciae was recommended to us during a visit to the spectacular Van Gogh show in the caves of Le Bain de Provence. Staying at this typical South of France hotel turned out to be a great surprise. Veronique and her husband were so friendly, and Veronique told us about the area’s history and did everything she could to make us comfortable. Our room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included, excellent, and a nice chance to meet other travelers. I thought it was good value for the money and would recommend it to anyone looking for lodging in the area.

The rooms at Hotel Terriciaë are impeccable, and the swimming pool is well maintained. It’s a lovely little hotel where you can relax or head out to visit the charming villages nearby. We had a great time.
