We were a little nervous after reading the reviews, but the room turned out to be basic, very clean, and comfortable. The staff were lovely and even agreed to check us in at 4 in the morning. It worked perfectly for our overnight stop. The village is an easy walk away and very pretty, and its bakery makes excellent pain au chocolat.

The room was small and smelled bad, and there was nobody at reception when I arrived at 8pm. I had to start knocking on doors. The management seemed very poor, if there was any at all. Much too expensive.

The staff were very friendly, but the room was tiny and bare, more like student accommodation. For what it is, it would be okay at half the price. The bar and restaurant were closed during our stay.

We stopped here on the drive to Portugal. The room was clean and functional, the food was good, and the staff were friendly.
