The Magnolias B&B

After ten days in France and stays at eight different hotels, this place really stood out. The house and garden look gorgeous, and the English hosts were lovely and welcomed us with open arms. We’ll definitely come back.

We found the beds excellent and the breakfast was excellent too. It’s a nice lobby to spend time in with friends. The welcome was fantastic, and the peaceful location is perfect for relaxing.

We arrived without warning and were made to feel really welcome. The people are very friendly, the rooms are good and so is the breakfast. A really nice B&B, and I’d recommend it if you need somewhere in the area.

Graham and Caroline were such good hosts, friendly and funny, with plenty of local ideas and tips. I really enjoyed chatting with them. And Gypsy the little cat kept us entertained through the window, dancing about in the grass. She wasn’t allowed inside. We came as a motorcycle group for a week touring the area and the D Day sites. The rooms were lovely, the showers were great, and we could come and go as we pleased. The hot drinks station was a real bonus. There was a pool table and lounge with Sky TV, and the grounds were beautiful, well kept, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was plentiful, and the good home cooked three course dinners were handy after a day exploring when we didn’t feel like going out.
