Really good value. The studio was nice, comfortable, and practical. The lack of an AC unit and mosquito nets could be an issue, though.

We couldn’t switch apartments because none else were available in Mulhouse. The owner did send someone to clean after we called, but that was two days later and the job was far too superficial. The hygiene was awful: dead insects were in room corners and on the dormer curtains, where they could’ve fallen onto the bed. Bird droppings covered the windowsill, so opening the window would’ve brought them inside. A nightmare. We stayed four days in August 2025. The apartments had been renovated badly, with steps between rooms everywhere and a risk of falling at each one.
We appreciated being allowed to check in early after arriving on a rainy day. The bed was very comfortable, Wi-Fi was great, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including salt, pepper, and oil. The shower had good pressure and hot water, and the place was spotless. It’s a handy spot, a short walk from the central square and Christmas market. The train station takes about 12 minutes on foot, and there’s a tram stop just around the corner.
L'Arsenal made a great base for my five days of remote work and exploring Mulhouse. The building is in the city centre, near restaurants, bars, supermarkets, the train station, and landmarks, and it had everything I needed. The apartment was nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and a really spacious bathroom. Thanks, Stephanie, for replying to my messages so quickly!
A comfortable, peaceful place with a nice balance between cost and what you get.
