It’s a small hotel, and the beds were comfortable and clean, but the room otherwise felt old and run down. Both the bathtub and sink were clogged, there was mold in the bathroom silicone, and the toilet paper was left beside the toilet instead of on the roll. The place badly needs an upgrade, and honestly wasn’t worth the money. Our baby cot wasn’t set up properly. I asked reception to fix it, but they didn’t, so my husband had to sort it out. The corridor felt narrow because we had to pass a bunch of chairs to reach our room. Tables and chairs from the restaurant were also set up at the hotel entrance. The parking area behind the hotel was full of dog mess, and it was full in the evening, so we had to park elsewhere.

We stayed one night while cycling the wine trail. It’s a great little hotel in the heart of Munster, close to the shops, restaurants, and boulangeries. The hosts and reception staff were friendly and accommodating, and they found room for our bikes in the garage. It was wonderful to have a room that could fit a family without needing to book two.

The location is right in the town center, with everything close by. The hotel was quite nice and clean, and our room had a nice little sitting area. There’s private parking behind the hotel. All in all, a nice place.

From the window, you can watch the beautiful storks roosting. It’s a wonderful hotel in the heart of Munster, with fantastic staff and a lovely breakfast.
