We spent a lovely week here. The owners are so friendly, and it’s a great base for heading out in the car and exploring for the day. Breakfast, a separate kitchen, washing machine and TV were all part of the setup. Brilliant place. We’ll come back if we get the chance.

It was a peaceful night, with chickens, cows and other animal sounds around us. We got a very warm welcome, and there’s a covered eating area with a fridge, plus shaded pitches. The campsite has just two toilets and one shower, but it wasn’t busy when we were there, so that was fine. We paid €9 for two people without electricity, a very reasonable price. There are also guest rooms, alongside a few camping pitches.

We stumbled on this guesthouse and had a great stay. Mrs. Verdier was so kind, the welcome was lovely, and breakfast was excellent, all homemade. We’re sure to return next time we come to climb the Roc du Gorbe.

We’ve stayed several times and have tried all three guest rooms. They’re clean, the prices are attractive, and the welcome is really friendly. Breakfast is homemade too, with jams, brioches, bread and more. The only thing I miss is air conditioning on very hot days.
