Breakfast was good, and the room was okay for me, my wife, and our two small children. The building looks a bit old, and the area felt quite dark. It's about a 10-minute walk to the city center, but the location isn't the best. The bathroom's swing doors were broken and kept opening wide. Water had leaked onto the floor beside a power outlet before we got there, which caused a power failure during our stay.

I felt right at home during my 12-night stay a few days ago, and I hope to come back soon. The staff were attentive, especially the three receptionists, including Eloise, who was pregnant, and the young man who welcomed us when we arrived. The breakfast staff were also genuinely friendly and attentive.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and having two connecting rooms worked perfectly for our trip with the grandkids. The hotel is in a good location, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We couldn't get on-site parking because it was full, but found a spot about a 10-minute walk away, which wasn't too bad. We ordered drinks in the evening, but my Heineken was flat, so we decided to eat out. Luckily there are lots of good restaurants nearby. Breakfast the next morning was a highlight, with a fantastic mix of hot and cold options. At checkout, though, we learned we'd only been charged for breakfast in one room and had to pay another £40 for the second. If I'd known breakfast would be £80 for six people, I might have chosen differently. The price should have been clearer at booking or check-in. Even with those hiccups, we had a great stay and would consider coming back.

Whenever I'm in Nancy, I stay at the Novotel. The team is so kind, attentive, and helpful, and I haven't experienced better hospitality. Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome and looked after during my stay.

Nice rooms, in a safe area and within walking distance of the city center. Breakfast is good, though the room gets crowded quickly.
