That river view from the house is incredible, and it made a lovely base for exploring the area around. We only decided to get away on the day we arrived, so our arrival was very late, but Fabienne and Pierre welcomed us warmly and still served a delicious dinner, Spanish-time style. They’re such good hosts and made us feel at home. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back.

Fabienne and Pierre were terrific with us and our two small children. We stayed in the Air room, and they found such resourceful, creative ways to help everything feel normal and safe despite the pandemic. We loved the house, the surroundings, and the food. A faire et refaire!

Leaving this morning was hard. We stopped for an idyllic three-day break on the way home from our holiday, and the setting was truly rejuvenating. The hosts made us feel so welcome. We'll definitely come back.

The table d'hôtes deserves a special mention, and the accommodation was pleasant too. Fabienne and Pierre gave us such a warm welcome; the surroundings are magnificent and so refreshing. At Chambres de la Dourbie, evenings meant dinners that were a treat for the eyes as well as the palate. Breakfast was generous, delicious, and satisfying, with happy conversations around the communal table. Fabienne, Pierre, and Touch made us feel so warmly welcomed. Such an enchanting natural escape, just right for recharging. I'd be delighted to return...
