We stayed in the apartment on Rue Jean Jaures. It was spacious, clean and had everything you could want, but it’s on the fourth floor with no elevator, so be ready to carry your luggage. Appart a Nantes manages four apartments in downtown Nantes.

Avoid this place if you have luggage. It’s on the third floor and there’s no elevator, so you’ll have to carry everything upstairs. When I asked about luggage storage, they sent me to the train station website to look for options. They offer free cancellation until 15 days before arrival, but only told me these “minor” details three days beforehand, when I could no longer cancel for free. I really don’t recommend it.
