We spent two nights in the ground-floor apartment, one of two, and would happily have stayed longer. The small, elegant kitchen is well equipped enough to make that easy. Le Cadran Solaire is a very good place to stay, with its own entrance alongside the hosts’ home. They were gracious and charming, and made us feel well looked after. The house takes its name from the sundial on one of its walls. From there, it’s a short walk to the Erdre, which runs down from the north toward central Nantes. We were there in early autumn and found the riverside walk beautiful. The University is a short ferry ride across the river, and the centre is easy to reach on foot along the water or by bus and tram.

Birdsong and a quiet setting made the impeccably clean studio feel peaceful. It was perfectly equipped, and our host was so kind. They gave us useful advice about transport and things to see, tailored to our preferences and the visits we had planned. Thanks for such a warm welcome. We recommend the place without hesitation.

We had such a warm welcome, and the studio was both comfortable and nicely decorated. Its location makes it easy to explore central Nantes and take walks beside the Erdre. I’d happily recommend it! 😄

The cottage feels warm and inviting, and the hosts are welcoming and helpful. It’s surrounded by peaceful greenery, with lovely walks along the Erdre nearby. I’d recommend adding the breakfast option.
