The location was good, the staff member who checked me in and out was friendly, and it was quiet enough that I slept well. Still, I’d book somewhere else next time. The room had a window opening onto a kind of shaft. Most of the windows there were painted solid green, but the ones at the top weren’t. When the shaft lights came on for a few minutes during the night, the room became bright as day, and there were no curtains. In the morning, I switched on the lights and found plenty of bugs running around. And when I reached in to turn on the light after opening the door, I realized my fingers had gone into an electrical outlet.

Good value and a very handy location, with friendly staff. The staircase could use some freshening up.

I booked this hotel mainly because it’s right in central Nantes and convenient when you don’t have a car. I was there for three nights for a seminar and stayed at the back. The front must be awful with all the nightclubs and bars, since it’s lively and especially noisy. My room was small and had a single bed, but I slept very well. The staff were pleasant and professional. I didn’t try the breakfast.

The receptionist was kind and understanding. My room was clean and perfectly fine for one night. I was on the street side, which might bother some people, but I don’t mind noise. No complaints.
