The front desk guy was lovely, respectful, elegant, and really helpful. All the staff were kind and pleasant.

The receptionists were mostly kind and helpful, and room service did a great job changing the towels and making the beds. Still, my stay was disappointing, especially for a hotel advertised as 4-star. The room was narrow and uncomfortable, with furniture arranged awkwardly enough to make getting around difficult. Even the mirror only showed half my reflection. The walls had visible wear that needed repair, and there was mold on the shower and walls, which raised hygiene concerns. There was a fridge, but no drinking water in the room. We had to go down to reception for a glass, and weren't allowed to take a water bottle back upstairs. The air conditioning didn't work and was dusty, so the room felt stuffy. A radiator was poorly fitted and hanging precariously. With so many maintenance problems, it didn't meet 4-star standards. I wouldn't recommend staying until significant improvements are made.

We had such a good time here. I'd mentioned in the original booking that it was my girlfriend's birthday, and we arrived to balloons and petals in the room. It was very clean, the staff were lovely, and we really enjoyed the self-service coffee and tea bar. The location is super central, with lots of places we wanted to visit just 5-10 minutes away on foot. I'd recommend it over most of the chain hotels nearby.

Low-comfort hotel on a noisy street. The hot water didn't work for two days, and it was so cold that showering was impossible. Absurd. I don't recommend it.
